Funny enough - on one of the sites we use to track how the baby is progressing - they used a laptop as a reference for the baby's size this week - I thought it was quite amusing. Of course the laptop would be a Macbook Pro - although they don't make a 16inch one...
Here's the direct quote: "baby's length is about 16 inches—about as long as a laptop computer—and she measures almost 11 inches from crown to rump. HerHe weighs approximately 2 1/2 to 3 pounds.

I am feeling great - a bit of sciatic pain but other than that (knock wood) this has been a wonderful pregnancy thus far.
Week 30 was July 4th weekend and it was jam packed. On Saturday, I was very proud of my pregnant self as we decided to "Shoot the Hooch"!
What that really means is we sat in tubes and floated leisurely down the Chatahochee River. The roughest part of the river was navigating the cement pylons of the bridges that cross over the 'hooch and of course keeping the river water out of your beer (water for me:-). Julie & Shane joined us for the day and the 86 degree weather and Julie's peanut butter fudge brownies made for a perfect float!
Sunday was the day to celebrate the birth of our nation and with all of the new birth's on our block - it brought out the best in the stars and stripes of baby regalia. Jeff, Stacy and Megan (white hat below) hosted an afternoon BBQ with the mandatory game corn hole.

Later that day, our friend's Tony & Cindy roasted a pig with the help of Chef Shane and we had the best view of the fireworks at Turner Field. I love the fact that our neighborhood comes together and is so inclusive of all friends and family. I can't wait to bring a new little one into this fun group!

Having an extra day off was wonderful - Monday was a more relaxing and we put up some sage curtains in the baby's room. We could basically bring the baby home and HerHe would have almost everything it needs to be comfy - a crib - changing area- diapers- glider, soft chenille rug and now curtains to make the room nice and dark!
